Why Don't I Earn Money? 

We live interdependent life on the earth so there are 2 things always.  One is personal and one is in relationship to others.  Very first I wish to be authentic to myself.  For that I listen to myself and work towards,  to live the life which I find genuine to myself.  Then it comes to others.  We are all unique so we all can't live same life but when it comes to collective or interdependent life we should adopt collectively a model which allow each one to live authentic life.  And that model is Gift Economy.

People should understand why we have 1000s of unsolved problems in the world and they are getting even worst.  My work is creating awareness among them.  And allow them to decide.

On my persona level,  I stopped earning money is being authentic to myself to what I understand best of my research of life and my desire. It may inspire others and may not.  It may create big difference in society or may be nothing.  But it is harmless personal choice.

First realization is..  we born naked and we will die naked.  Means when we born, we didn't bring anything and when we will die we won't carry anything. After birth, whatever we got are all gifts. Earth gave resources to all of us. Air,  water and earth, all vegetation all are gifts. But what about toys and clothes etc?  They come from same free natural resources of the earth, but someone put his precious labour and skill on it and made it for others and we are given as gifts. 

Humans have tendency to establish ownership on whatever he find.  In my sense it is valid when he put his precise effort to transform raw materials into useful things ( physical stuff ) or thinking or practicing for hours to create something, like useful theory or music/song /skill and establish ownership to it. In other cases ownership is not valid. But if I consider even deeper, we have only in our control is our intention. Result is in control of nature. Whatever we create out of our intention, skill,  labour or thinking is  gift from nature. Sometimes we try so hard for so many times and can't make something useful.  So result is not always in our control but only intention.  So, result is gift to us from nature. And we don't own our thoughts as well. Each day new type of thoughts we get and not sure from where it came. So conclusion is anything we create putting our intention,  we don't own it but nature. We are care takers. We are given gifts by nature. And if we have surplus, we need to pass that gift to others.

Living interdependent life on the earth, we have 3 types of transactions.

1) Monetary Exchange: Pay the money in the exchange of goods or services

2) Bartering: Give goods or services in return of goods or services.

3) Gifting: Give goods or service as social responsibility and just for own happiness ( no expectations or anything return )

In the first pattern you need something and I sell it. I have put its price Rs.100. If you give me Rs.100, I will give you that stuff. In this pattern whole world works today so it is not necessary to narrate it further, here.

In the second pattern, if someone gives me goods or service about equal agreed value to my goods or service, we will have exchange. One barber used to come to our village of 20 families when I was a kid. He cut the hairs of whoever needs to from the village, weekly once. In return, each family used to give him grains for whole year stock.

Here there was a condition of grains for full year in exchange of his service. If we had not given him the grains he would not give his service to us.  As he grew old and was unable to provide his service to us, we stopped giving him grains.

So in this 2 exchange patterns there are conditions. The exchange will be done only when mutual condition is fulfilled.

In 3rd pattern, Just give if you can and receive if you need without anything to pay back. No conditions involved.

First 2 types.. we consider it selling or business and it is motivated by profit. Profit is extra money which we charge to customer to grow my money balance. And customer like to reduce the price/profit and for that he force to get discount.  And whole world play that game to each other as each of us is doing business and each of us is customer. It has created 1000s of problems. 1000 page book can be written on it.

In any exchange,  there are always 2 parties. Considering here conditional exchange, one is selling and one is buying or both are in need and both become customer to each other and do barter. Or seller wish to barter.

For me,  when I am as a customer, I can't change seller.  Seller wish that conditional exchange and if I am in need of that goods or service,  I have to negotiate or accept his condition and buy.

But if I have something which I can offer and someone can be benefited by it,  I don't put any condition. Just do it. Only thing I try to confirm is need is genuine. So, removing conditional exchange from my side. I just give and forget.
