Story of Rain of Gold Coins

There is an old story in which a person suffered from lack of money tries to please the God and he was successful doing it. God appears to him and asked him the purpose. He asked to have rain of Gold Coins for his personal prosperity. God agrees and blessed him for that. Shower of Gold Coins started in his house. He collected as many coins as he can but when gold coins keep raining beyond his capacity to hold or gather them, he informed his relatives; all of his relatives gathered all those. Even then there was a rain of gold coins so he informed to his village people. Even rain was continued so long, many other village people gathered the gold coins, too. After being tired of this event, finally he pleased God again and requested to stop the rain. And rain stopped. Now he went to shop to buy the things he needed in his house by using this cold coins as a currency. But nobody accepted those gold coins as each one had more than enough such coins. Everybody wants to fulfill their basic needs wanted something useful other than these gold coins. There was no value of these gold coins anymore.

In relation to this old story I like to introduce new version of the story of this current world.

Due to Suffering from lack of money one person pleased god. God pleased, appeared and asked the reason. This person requested to make each individual of the earth super rich having multi billion dollars. God agreed and granted his wish. Now, nobody was poor or beggar on this earth.  Each working or non-working person had abundant money.

Like other people, I was also super rich. Now when I got hungry, to search a hotel I went to market. Most of the shops were closed. After quite long search I got one restaurant open. Owner was busy in mobile game paid no attention to me. There wasn’t anybody else appeared in that restaurant. Being hungry I asked him to have something to eat there. He said no and got busy again in his game. When I asked him more he replied that by some miracle each one from tonight got super rich, so none of my worker need to do this job and so nobody appeared today at work, there is no enough or necessary raw material required is present in the restaurant and nobody is there to cook or serve. Also I don’t need to earn money so why do I bother or take headache to feed people anymore?

But as I was hungry I needed something to eat. I started searching something ready to eat packed food. Again after long search I got one shop open selling the stuff I needed. I entered in the shop, looking at me very straight shop owner said to me that I will get the stuff what is available but he didn’t accept money anymore. I must clean his house to have my desired stuff. I was rich why would I need to clean someone’s house?  I rejected his offer and kept searching for next shop. Fortunately I got one more but had same experience. So for that time I gave up thinking to have food. I had to fill petrol in my motorbike so I went to a petrol pump. Here there was a long queue and somewhat chaos as there was no worker to fill the petrol. Some people were shouting and complaining about why no one is serving to fill the petrol, other in hurry trying to break the line and fill petrol themselves. Owner of the petrol pump was not interested to take part in anything, even not asking for money.

Everywhere there was uncertainty and no work was done. First day passed like this. Next day, to get the basic needs fulfilled, people started to try hard and it became even super chaos as there was nobody interested to sell and work. Everybody had ample of money but unable to get the thing or service they want. Some people tried to take the things forcefully from the shops.

After fetching big amounts from banks for first 3-4 days people stopped going to banks as nobody accepted money for anything as nobody needed it anymore. There was no importance to any money transaction then. Very few bank employees were going to banks; few stopped going after 3-4 days. These banks were now just banks by name. After 5 days most of the banks preferred even not to open them. There was no importance or value of money. Still people held money.

In the starting hospital employees gave up to be present on the duty but later on after 3-4 days they started being there on duty for humanity.

This way, first 10 days, most of the people preferred not to work and there was lots of mess everywhere.  Wise and intelligent people had lots of online and offline discussions about the situation but nobody were able to pin point any perfect solution for this. Each one was putting random opinions. Suddenly being super rich, some people were super happy for first 3-4 days but with the progress of the situation up to 10^th day, felt that something very strange has happened but was unable to understand anything. Almost each one having these initial 10 days vacation now felt bored without any activity and was thinking what to do next. Everybody expected to have something better from this situation. Everybody wished to get everything regular.


Up to the 10th day, each wise person had the same opinion that until new better system starts working, to sustain this human society, to fetch it from this huge chaos, and not to lead the very existence of the human life in the danger, each one should get back to the work and start sharing things. After this 10th day those wise people started their usual work. By organizing open meetings and in all the social media and communicating mediums they start spreading this kind of messages. Tired people without work felt that this was the right thing to do so they gradually came back to the work.


Up to the 15th day, so many people started working. So situation started becoming easier. On the basis of humanity the shopkeepers started giving the stuff to the needy without any condition. There was no value of money but to sustain the human life, to work and share the stuff was necessary what they all understood firmly.


Up to the 18th day more than 60% people started working so the situation was much better. But now they were not working under any master or owner but they were working themselves by their own understanding for comfortable hours. Some people were working for 8 hours somewhere for 5 hours and some for 10 hours by mutual understanding. So the work was much better efficient and cooperative. They had much joy of work. Now everybody was working for sustaining human life, for individual joy and to be helpful to the society. At the time of natural disaster we all use our ability and resources to the restoration work by uniting with other people, by own understanding, without any expectation. Same way people started working here. Many people chose the work which they like the most leaving those unwanted earlier jobs. Some people were in the same job but started working at such place where they can perform better and can enjoy the work. Those people, who were searching the job before this event, started the desired work now wherever there was a need of work as now they had no reason to work for money. The money was devalued; as everybody had enough money.

Before the completion of 25th day 90% people were engaged to one or another kind of work. Now there was least chaos which everybody trying to sort it out together. Now hope of humanity was alive. Most of the situations were restored before completion of a month. Nobody was asking for money, people were enjoying the work and felt that we can work without money, working just for humanity. It was wonderful experience and the human society decided to move forward just like this.
